2026
Sponsoring a Child to attend school in Zambia: Sponsoring a child to attend a school is the most long lasting type of commitment that TWOAT makes. We are currently supporting sponsored children in both Zambia and Kenya. From a financial planning perspective the longest commitment that TWOAT can realistically make is 3 years although a child’s schooling is typically longer than this. We are now funding 2 additional children, one at each school, and are building this into our commitments for the next 2 years starting in September.

2025 UPDATES
Rainbow Africa provides the opportunity for education for many children, and over the years they have set up a
number of schools spread across the local towns and villages in South Zambia. They take tremendous pride in their top-performing schools:
- Kings Primary School
- Livingstone Pre-School
- Malime Pre-School,
- Ngweze Community School
- Muzoka Pre-School
The King’s Primary School is our second school based on the Rainbow Trust Africa site and has been running for over 15 years. They are able to provide education to hundreds of children, accommodating for all nine primary school grades. We are passionate about giving children the opportunity to learn.
TWOAT continue to sponsor 3 children at the Kings Primary School. Note that the primary school has nine grades, thus going up to Year 9 or more.
Livingstone Pre-School is struggling with many challenges, including inflation and the lack of power. They have a maximum of four hours power a day. We have been sponsoring three children at their excellent school for a number of years. We are now looking to support some grannies who have no-one to support them. We are wanting to sponsor a granny. We have been asked if they can use the first instalment to improve the living quarters of the Grannies. They want to repair badly worn floors and erect fences to prevent theft from the property.
