Around 70 people attended St John’s Hall to hear Sir Edward Clay, former British Ambassador to Rwanda, talk about the genocide that occurred in 1994 and what might be done by the international community to prevent future such catastrophes. Sir Edward Clay was the non-resident British Ambassador to Rwanda in 1994 when that country suffered the horrors of genocide.
