Sir Edward Clay talk on Rwanda raises £1,000

Around 70 people attended St John’s Hall to hear Sir Edward Clay, former British Ambassador to Rwanda, talk about the genocide that occurred in 1994 and what might be done by the international community to prevent future such catastrophes. As a result of the meeting and with Gift aid reclaims TWOAT will have raised about £1,000 for two projects – one working for peace and reconciliation in Rwanda and another organizing health camps in nearby Uganda where many Rwandan refugees…
